  • ANNA CHRISTENSEN

    2028 + Graphic Design

    Owner of Studio Anna Marie

My mission is to create artwork/creative products that can bring a little more color, joy, and sense of whimsicality back into everyday life. Through my art, whether it's paintings, illustrating, or something else, I want to be able to share and create pieces that can make ordinary things into something that creates a story that is meaningful or joyful to everyone.

  • MALLS LEMIER

    2028 + Education

    Owner of Disgaybled Designs

My goal is for consumers to use my art as a catalyst for connection. Being LGBT in North Dakota can feel isolating sometimes and being a student with health concerns can make everyday tasks feel overwhelming. I use both of these pieces of myself in my art and hope that by being vulnerable myself, my client base can feel less alone.

  • MADISON STOCK

    2030 + Nursing & Psychology

    Owner of Kissed in Gold

The most rewarding part has definitely been seeing the reaction on people’s faces when they receive a carefully crafted, handmade gift. I am incredibly grateful that I’ll be able to reach more people through Student-Made and give people that feeling of excitement that something was made just for them. The challenging part is probably the patience it takes. Crocheting can be pretty slow and time consuming, and some days are harder than others, but once I get into a rhythm, it becomes almost meditative and helps me get out of my head for a while.

  • RABIAT ATANDA

    2027 + Statistics

    Owner of Amtikiss Casuals

Through Amtikiss Casuals, I want people to feel that beauty should never come at the cost of comfort. The business was inspired by the frustration of wearing beautiful jewelry that caused irritation and discomfort. My goal is to help women and families find elegant, comfortable pieces designed with sensitive skin in mind, so they can feel confident wearing jewelry again.

Whether she is entering the business world, becoming more independent or simply working on herself, I hope my nails can provide a small boost of confidence that helps her take on the world with a positive mindset.

  • ADDISON SCHAFER

    2029 + Mechanical Engineering

Owner of This is the Day

Through my handmade cards, my goal is to help people reconnect in a meaningful, heartfelt way. In a digital world, taking the time to send a physical card shows a deeper level of appreciation and thoughtfulness. Every card I’ve created has brought me joy, and I’ve seen how it brightens the day of those who receive it. I hope to give my customers the same opportunity to share that feeling. Student-Made gives me the chance to put my work on display. With every purchase, my hope is to pour joy and care not only into the customer’s life, but also into the life of the person they choose to send their card to.

  • CARTER KIPP

    2028 + Business Administration

At the end of the day, my biggest motivator is seeing the happiness my work brings to others and knowing that the time and effort I invested truly paid off. I love the idea of someone stumbling across a piece they didn’t even know they needed, having that spark of connection, and taking it home. Knowing that something I built becomes a cherished, positive part of someone’s daily life is the ultimate reward.

  • MILEY KORVER

    2028 + Marketing

    Owner of Cozy Workshop

When I first started crochet it was a way for me to handle my anxiety, I always needed to be doing something otherwise I feel on edge. As time went on I grew my skill in crocheting and realized I could share it with others. So what started out as a coping mechanism turned into a business that I love.
